The Magic Roundabout. (BBC, from 18 October). Children's animation. Dubbed English version (but with completely different stories to the same pictures) of the French series, revoiced by Eric Thompson. Runs until 1977.
Till Death Us Do Part (BBC, 22 July at 20:50). Pilot episode of comedy by Johnny Speight with Warren Mitchell as Alf Garnett.
Tomorrow's World. (BBC, from 7 July). Science and invention magazine programme. Still on air in 2001.
The Likely Lads (BBC). Sitcom.
