The H certificate was introduced by the British Board of Film Censors (BBFC) in response to pressure from local authorities over concerns about the growing number of horror films being released. This particular certificate is for the 1939 British film Dark Eyes of London, starring Bela Lugosi, released in the US as The Human Monster.

Is the BBFC's the only film censor's certificate in the world that  identifies the date of construction (c.1670) and the architect (Christopher Wren)  of the building that houses its offices?
