The seventh Pier Pressure short story competition was on the theme of Reservation.
This competition had been cancelled.
Because of the remarkably low number of entries the competition has been abandoned. It is not clear why there was such a poor response but, despite extending the deadline for entries, too few were received to justify continuing. We wish to thank those who did enter and apologise for any disappointment this may cause.
PAYMENTS. No cheques for entry fees have been cashed. For security reasons they will not be returned and will be destroyed unless a stamped envelope bearing the same address as the entry is received by 30 June. Payment by other means will be refunded to the address on the entry. We regret that story manuscripts cannot be returned.
