UK cinema circuits 1935-1936
The mid 1930s was a period of consolidation in the cinema business.
In 1935, 111 new cinema opened (including 19 replacements), 27 of the net gain of 92 screens attributable to circuits. In 1936 ABC alone acquired 130 cinemas
