Ellery Queen (CBS from 18 June). Mystery series.
Mr District Attorney (NBC from 3 April). Nightly 15-minute serial,  weekly 30-minute format from June for the next 13 years.
When a Girl Marries (CBS from 29 May). Soap. Start of an 18-year run.
